Connecting People Through Paper Creations
The purpose of this Facebook Live was to demonstrate how you can take one sheet of Basic White and create two entirely different cards in one stamping. I used the Painted Christmas Suite to make these two cards. One card is more on the simple stamping side and the other leans forward the more advanced. I think they both are gorgeous with these rich colors and these stamped images.
I started out with a piece of 5 1/2″ x 8″ Basic White Cardstock. I found the center and marked it with a pencil. I stamped up and down the center of the cardstock. I used Crumb Cake and Soft Suede for the pine cones and Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent for the greenery. I used Merry Merlot for the berries and Pool Party to add accent dots.
Once I had my stamping done, I cut it down the center. I cut one piece down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and used this one for the simple stamping type card. I stamped my sentiment using Evening Evergreen then cut the sentiment out. I adhered it to a layer of Evening Evergreen then onto a Soft Succulent card base. I accented it with Holiday Rhinestones.
For the card below, I left the measurements at 4″ x 5 1/4″. I embossed it using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I die cut pinecones using Crumb Cake and Early Espresso cardstock. I used the largest die in the set and cut a piece of Evening Evergreen. I then cut off small leaf pieces and decorated the card. I used a label from the die kit to cut out my sentiment. I popped the sentiment up on dimensionals then decorated the card using the pinecones, leaves and the gold leaf embellishments. I think it turned out so beautifully!
Be sure to watch the video to see how I made these gorgeous cards!
